WSA Charter

The WSA Charter/Code of Practice governs all responses made to enquiries from WSA Members, non-members, customers of WSA companies, the media and other sources.

The purpose of the WSA Charter/Code of Practice is to improve access to member organisations’ services and promote quality. The charter tells customers the standards of service to expect from member companies, what to do if something goes wrong, and who to contact within the WSA if they need to.

The WSA Charter:
  1. tells customers the minimum quality standards they should expect when dealing with WSA members.
  2. tells customers how to complain to the WSA if something goes wrong, or service is not met, or how to offer a suggestion for improvement.
  3. assures customers that they will receive fair treatment
  4. makes clear how they can contact the organisation and get further information.
  5. makes sure the information presented by the WSA both in print and online is accessible and easy to understand
  6. assures customers that WSA members are mindful of all relevant legislation
  7. assures customers that the WSA updates all information periodically to reflect changes and improvements.

Launch

The Water Saving Association (WSA) was formally launched at the 2008 Waterwise Conference in Oxford.

The WSA was formed in order to bring together companies that are committed to the very highest standards when supplying water-efficiency products and services to consumers and businesses. This will bring reassurance to customers and will provide a unique platform for sharing expertise and ideas regarding water saving in the UK.

The members of the Water Saving Association are all determined to support UK water users to understand the real value of water and the simple steps required to conserve it.
